Boat Reviews
- Posted By Richard H on 15 December 2008
I recently sailed a GP14 for the first time, and whilst not falling in love with it, found it pretty nice.
Visiting another club on a course, we used GPs - and they were very similar to sail to Enterprises, with the difference that these had been converted to centre main. The only struggles I had was with the concept of rudderless sailing, and a few issues with anchoring and a persistently shifty wind. The boat itself was nice to sail - very responsive, stable and comfortable. We weren't pushing them by any means - but it was easy to jump into and get used to very quickly.
